MoT+++ resident artist Enkhbold Togmidshiirev will share his art practice, which encompasses performance, painting and installation. Enkhboldis one of Mongolia’s leading contemporary artists and has represented his country at the 56th International Art Exhibition, la Biennale di Venezia in 2015, marking Mongolia’s first participation at the Biennale.
His practice draws inspiration from the traditional Mongolian nomadic life and uses the Ger (a portable hut) as a metaphor for the universe. Organic materials such as horse dung, ash, rust, leather and wood are often found in his installations, referencing humans’ relationship with nature.
The audience is encouraged to share their thoughts, questions and reflections during this informal discussion.

Enkhbold là một trong những nghệ sĩ đương đại hàng đầu Mông Cổ và đã từng đại diện cho đất nước của anh tại Triển lãm Nghệ thuật Quốc tế Thường niện tại Venice lần thứ 56 vào năm 2015, đánh dấu sự tham dự lần đầu tiên của Mông Cổ tại Lễ hội Nghệ thuật Thường niên này.
Khán giả được khuyến khích chia sẻ những suy nghĩ, câu hỏi và phán ánh của mình trong buổi thảo luận diễn ra tại sự kiện.
